Accommodation (hostel residence)

The hostel accommodation has offered 1000 beds that will be offered on a first come first serve basis. The rate is R500 per night per person including breakfast and dinner. Thus, for 5 nights it is R2500,00. Accommodation in the hostel residences will only be provided to the first 1000 applicants. No more than 1000 beds are available at the hostels. All bookings for hostel accommodation must be made by the 31st of May 2025. No bookings will be accepted thereafter. ONLY those who book and pay will get the rooms. All rooms are sharing, you can indicate a preferred colleague for sharing. Please indicate your preference when making your booking.

Please note:

Only accommodation at the hostel will be done via the AMESA Congress account. Thus, your payment of R2500,00 must be added to your registration and other payments. This is clear in the registration form. The hostel accommodation offers bedding thus delegates need to bring an additional blanket. Transport will be provided daily to and from the Congress venue the University of Limpopo and the hostel accommodation.

Cancellation Policy

Once your registration form has been submitted and processed, a cancellation fee of 20% of all costs will be charged for cancellations up to 06 June 2025. After 06 June 2025 no refunds will be made for any cancellation of complete or partial costs.

Application for Financial Support

A limited amount of funding is available to assist those participants who would otherwise be unable to attend the Congress. The application form must be submitted by 11 May 2025.

Besides the histel residences, there are a large number of venues available in and around Mankweng and Polokwane. These can be easily searched using Google search. Some are listed below. We have NO arrangements with these providers. All accommodation is made at the delegates’ own risk. The accommodation spaces below (on page 13) are available for your convenience on a first come first serve basis. Make a booking on time.
